Job Description:
Responsible for the medical supervision, care and delivery of the highest possible standards of patient centered care during laboratory procedures undertaken inside or outside the laboratory department.
Ensures compliance with internationally accepted standards of medical practice and initiates and implements clinical audit programs to monitor such care and standards. Assists in training and teaching programs and in research work in the area.
Responsible for reporting on laboratory examinations carried out by the department and other recognized staff. Utilities leading edge information systems and automation in the achievement of these goals. Is responsible for the effective management and development of the department staff, and the maintenance of the physical environment and resources.
Experiences in all aspects of Laboratory Procedures, and in particular, up to date experience in cross-sectional laboratory such as Haematology, Chemistry, Immunology, Serology, Microbiology, Urinalysis and Phlebotomy.
Education: Basic - MBBS(Medicine)
License: Must have HAAD License
